Back to: Media Room Day 3 - Demolition Photos"Extreme Makeover Home Edition's" classic "Braveheart" scene where the chosen builder leads their construction team to the site to begin demolishing the house was only the beginning of the excitement today. Vic, Linda and Stella Braden and the Cornerstone Construction Group team led the charge of hundreds of volunteers with heavy equipment, tractors and bulldozers to "Tear This House Down!" Then, to everyone's surprise and amazement, the LAPD came out in full force, led by Kristina's partner, Joe Meyer, along with S.W.A.T. and Bomb Squad officers to crash through the entire front of the house with the Batter Ram and demolish the interior walls with C4 explosives! Over 25 truckloads of debris were needed to haul away all the debris.
